Hi! I’m Raffelina, a life enthusiast and High School History teacher at The O' Farrell Community Charter School.
I laugh loudly, smile easily, and am always eager to learn something new.
Before pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a high school History teacher, I worked many roles around the world including: barista, bartender, summer camp director, backpacking trip leader, community event organizer, animal caretaker and ESL teacher.
I studied Sociology and Education at UC Santa Cruz and recently earned my Master’s degree in Teaching & Learning at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. In my free time, I love to swim in the ocean, craft, read, write, hike, bike, travel, spend quality time with family and friends, dance, sing badly, and daydream about the future.
